In one of my 3rd year Education course in University I came across a quote that will forever stick with me throughout my teaching career: “Success breeds success.” If we start children off with a task we know they can accomplish, their positivity and confidence in themselves will grow, so that when they do come across a task that is harder they will at least attempt to succeed at it. Multiple intelligences teaching is an amazing thing.
